How to Find Balance and Fulfillment using Ikigai
About this event
As 2022 rolls around, many of us are using the summer break to reflect on the year that’s been and re-evaluate what’s important. Whether you’re thinking about switching careers, launching a business or finding your purpose, 2022 is all about achieving balance and fulfillment.
So how can you design a life that is aligned to your core values? Where do you even start? Work180 Social Impact Lead Stephanie Lam looks at how we can use the Japanese methodology Ikigai to transform goal setting for the better.
What is Ikigai?
At a basic level, Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means “a reason for being.” The word Ikigai is usually used to indicate the source of value in one’s life or the things that make one’s life worthwhile.
It encourages each one of us to seek an ideal balance of life’s needs in relation to our personalities.
