About this event
Group Mentor Hours are community-led events and available for all members. Not a member yet? See what all the fuss is about>>
To celebrate World Meditation Day on 21 May, we’re excited to offer a Group Mentor Hour on Mindfulness and Meditation to all members!
Each year, we’re seeing health and wellbeing top your goal-setting wish lists. We all have such busy lives, it’s no wonder we’re looking for ways to feel calm, focused and energised!
But how do you carve out me-time when you’re a busy mum, building a business or climbing the career ladder? What happens when all the meditation apps, bubble baths and #selflove Instagram posts still leave your mind racing instead of rested?
Maybe it’s time we treat health and wellbeing as less of an objective and more of a journey.
This month, we’re learning how to connect with mindfulness and meditation in a genuine way with two of our amazing members, Chantelle Gallow and Michelle Large.
Mindful Movement
Chantelle, a holistic coach and organisational wellbeing consultant, will guide us through a 20-minute session on Mindful Movement. This activity will show you how simple moving and stretching can benefit your mind, body and soul.
Chocolate Meditation
Next, we'll go on a 10-minute Chocolate Meditation demonstration with Michelle (as if we need another excuse to eat some choccy!). The aim is to practice slowing your thoughts and calming your mind, all while nibbling chocolate – so don’t forget to bring your fave block with you!
Mindfulness and Meditation: Tips and Tools
We’ll round off the session with YOUR experiences of mindfulness and meditation. We’d love to hear your tips, tricks and tools on how you stay centred and energised during life’s ups and downs.
This session is perfect for members who are looking for a real antidote to anxiety and stress, away from the hype. If you’d like to try meditation or learn some new mindfulness techniques that can be done anytime and anywhere, this one’s for you!
